BOYCOTT GlaxoSmithKline, “Tums
Down!”
- GlaxoSmithKline, the world’s second largest drug company,
is cutting off their drugs to Canadian pharmacies that sell to
customers in the U.S. via the internet.
- Americans are turning to Canadian pharmacies via the internet
for quality, affordable medicines because drug companies keep
fighting against affordable prices here in the U.S. – in
Congress, in the courts, and in the marketplace.
- If Glaxo succeeds in this action, other big drug companies
will surely follow – we cannot let them succeed.
Send a message to the drug industry (“BIG PHARMA”)
that Americans need affordable medicines.
JOIN THE NEW NATIONAL BOYCOTT OF GLAXO!
Stop buying GlaxoSmithKline products:
Tums, Aquafresh, Beano, Citrucel, Contac, Gaviscon, Geritol, Nytol,
Nicoderm, Nicorette, Polident, Poligrip, Sominex, Sensodyne, Tagamet,
Tegrin, and Vivarin.
If you take a prescription drug from Glaxo,
ask your doctor if there is another comparable drug you could take
instead.
- Call your Member of Congress and Senators Schumer and Clinton
(toll-free at 866-727-7726) and let them know your concerns about
Glaxo.
- Call Glaxo’s toll-free consumer hotline at 1-888-825-5249
and tell them you will support the boycott until they change their
position.

- GlaxoSmithKline, la segunda farmacéutica más
grande del mundo, le está descontinuando las medicinas
a las farmacias canadienses que le vendan a clientes estadounidenses
a través del Internet.
- Los estadounidenses acuden a las farmacias canadienses a través
del Internet para poder obtener medicinas de calidad y de precio
cómodo porque las farmacéuticas luchan en el congreso,
en las cortes y en el mercado por no brindarle al consumidor en
los Estados Unidos precios razonables por las medicinas.
- Si la Glaxo triunfa en esta acción, otra farmacéuticas
grandes le seguirán – no les podemos permitir esta
victoria.
